What is Home Health?

Home health brings services to the private homes and assisted living facilities of patients in need of skilled care related to their diagnosis, including, but not limited to, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, speech/language pathologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists. Changes in technology have expanded the range of services that can be provided within the home setting, making it possible for more people than ever to recover at home.

What is Hospice?

Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort and support compassionately to patients and their families when a life limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatment. Hospice care neither prolongs, nor hastens death, but rather focuses on the quality of life’s possibilities. The goal of Hospice is to improve the quality of patient’s remaining days by delivering exceptional care with an emphasis on comfort, dignity, and compassion.
